We are currently working with a leading company to recruit a CFO based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The CFO will lead the Group’s finance function, providing strong financial stewardship, governance, and strategic partnering to support performance, growth, and risk management. This is a hands on leadership role requiring a proven controllership foundation, deep expertise in financial operations and compliance, and the ability to manage and develop a large, multi layered finance team.
What You’ll be Doing…
Financial leadership and controllership
Own the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all financial reporting across the Group, ensuring robust controls, policies, and procedures
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles, including consolidation and management reporting
Maintain strong governance over GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, revenue recognition, and inventory or project accounting where relevant
Oversee audit readiness, external audits, and statutory compliance, ensuring alignment with local regulations and relevant reporting standards
Strengthen internal control frameworks, risk registers, and compliance processes, driving continuous improvement and standardisation
Strategic finance and performance management
Partner with the CEO and leadership team to shape financial strategy, capital allocation, and long range planning
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking, translating operational plans into measurable financial outcomes
Provide insight on profitability, margin improvement, working capital optimisation, and cost discipline
Develop decision quality analytics, dashboards, and KPI frameworks to support the executive team and business unit leaders
Treasury, cash management, and funding
Lead cash flow planning, liquidity management, and working capital governance
Manage banking relationships, facilities, and funding strategy in line with the Group’s growth plans
Oversee financial risk management including FX, interest rate exposure, credit risk, and insurance coordination where relevant
Leadership, people, and stakeholder management
Lead, coach, and develop a large finance organisation, setting clear structures, roles, and accountability
Build a high performance culture across controllership, FP&A, treasury, tax, internal audit, and shared services as applicable
Manage relationships with key external stakeholders including auditors, banks, regulators, and advisors
Present clear, confident financial updates to the Board, shareholders, and senior leadership, influencing outcomes through data and judgement
Who You Are…
Arabic speaker is required
15 plus years of progressive finance leadership experience with a significant controllership track record
Strong command of financial governance, reporting, consolidation, audit management, and internal controls within a complex multi entity environment
Proven experience leading large teams, building scalable finance structures, and improving process discipline
Commercial mindset with the ability to partner the business while protecting financial integrity and compliance
Strong stakeholder presence with the ability to operate with confidentiality and professionalism at senior levels
Experience in a local group, multi business environment, or diversified portfolio is preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
Professional qualification preferred (CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA or equivalent)
