Description
Job title: Category Manager Logistics & Packaging Europe
Location: Maastricht, Netherlands (or other European location)
Develop, implement, monitor and realize the sourcing strategy for the Logistics & Packaging category within company requirements and guidelines, ensuring delivery of agreed business objectives with Business Units and Group Functions while contributing to the overall success of dsm-firmenich ANH SolCo.
Your key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the category strategy and implementation roadmap for Logistics & Packaging in Europe.
- Lead deployment of category strategies and prioritize procurement initiatives across the region.
- Prepare and lead fact-based negotiations, supplier selection activities and contract management processes.
- Manage procurement initiatives in close alignment with stakeholders, business functions and procurement colleagues.
- Build, develop and manage strategic supplier relationships and ensure effective Key Supplier Management (KSM), including contract compliance and performance monitoring
- Drive knowledge sharing, collaboration and standardization across procurement teams by providing category expertise and promoting procurement best practices.
- Contribute to the development of dsm-firmenich ANH SolCo indirect procurement strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strengthen procurement's profile and value proposition within the stakeholder community.
- Support cost reduction, cash optimization and responsible sourcing objectives.

You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement or a relevant business environment.
- Extensive experience in logistics, warehousing or packaging sourcing.
- Experience within international and multicultural environments.
- Fluent English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Category management expertise.
- Strategic thinking and execution.
- Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities.
- Advanced communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Negotiation and demand management expertise.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and strong ownership.
