Location Manila

Corporate Title: Sr. Analyst

Role Overview

This role sits within the C&AFC F&P team responsible for the implementation and execution of the risk management framework for C&AFC risks across the bank, including methodology, processes, systems and training. Within F&P, the Analytics, Insights and Monitoring (AIM) team is responsible for designing and enabling C&AFC processes and applications used for issue management, management information and reporting, with a data team responsible for prioritising, sourcing and quality controls over the data used to enable advisory, risk management and oversight activities.

By translating trusted data outputs into coherent commentary, visualisations and management narratives, the role enables senior stakeholders to understand the C&AFC risk profile, identify emerging themes and make informed oversight decisions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support the production of monthly Group-level risk profile MI for C&AFC leadership and contribute to quarterly board reporting packs by preparing data, visualisations, and initial analysis.
  • Coordinate the collection and analysis of commentary from subject matter experts for risk profile reporting, synthesising qualitative insights with quantitative data to form a cohesive narrative.
  • Support the C&AFC issue management and escalation process by assisting with the capture, workflow management, and impact assessment of logged issues.
  • Assist in the analysis of data to identify emerging risk themes, trends, and patterns across various C&AFC risk types.
  • Coordinate the cataloguing of contextual risk data, including the structured capture of operational risk events and findings, ensuring data is accurate and consistently recorded.
  • Support the C&AFC function’s engagement in key risk management processes, including lessons learned from events, findings lifecycle management, and third-party risk management activities.
  • Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the MI and Reporting team, tracking performance against targets.
  • Own the creation and maintenance of key process documentation, including desktop procedures and standard operating procedures, ensuring operational resilience and consistency.
