Director, Patient Financial Services

A growing, independent, non-profit medical center in Middle Tennessee is seeking an experienced Director of Patient Financial Services to lead a high-performing Revenue Cycle team.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Patient Financial Services operations
• Oversee billing, patient accounting, collections, denials, reimbursement, and accounts receivable
• Improve cash collections, denial performance, clean claim rates, and overall revenue cycle KPIs
• Develop and mentor leaders while building an engaged, accountable culture
• Partner with executive leadership to improve operational and financial performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Current or recent experience utilizing the Epic EHR in an acute care hospital is required
• 8+ years of progressive Revenue Cycle/Patient Financial Services experience
• 3+ years of leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of hospital billing, denials, reimbursement, patient accounting, and revenue cycle operations
