Our *Busser/Barbacks* are the right hands to our servers and bartenders. They ensure our dining room, bars, venue, and service areas are clean, sanitized, stocked, and visually appealing.
Cleaning Tasks:
- Clean counters and furniture.
- Wipe down tables.
- Clean glasses.
- Run food and bus tables.
- Clean up the bar and table areas.
- Take out the trash before, after, and during the shift.
- Clean spills and mop behind the bar.
- Unclog sinks.
- Clean no-slip mats behind the bar.
Stocking Tasks:
- Keep the bar fully stocked at all times.
- Refill ice wells.
- Replenish the bar with glasses, toothpicks, napkins, coasters, ice cubes, etc.
- Replenish cleaning rags at each bartender station.
- Restock liquor bottles.
- Change beer kegs.
- Put away all liquor and beer deliveries that came in during the day.
Qualifications/Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age to serve alcohol.
- Courteous, friendly personality and professional appearance.
- Knowledge of menu items, including beers, wines, cocktails, and liquors.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, ability to handle tense situations with coworkers and customers calmly and rationally.
- Observant and thorough.
- Responsible, punctual.
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-paced environment.
- Ability to meet physical and scheduling demands of the position, including, walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods and working nights, weekends, and holidays.
