Role purpose

Aderant's EMEA Professional Services practice is entering a period of significant growth and transformation as the business accelerates client migration to its Stridyn cloud platform. This role leads the day-to-day delivery operation of the EMEA practice: owning delivery performance, regional operating discipline, and the leadership of the regional delivery organisation.

The Director provides the senior delivery leadership that allows the EMEA PS function to operate at consistent, scalable quality within Aderant's global Professional Services operating model — with clear ownership of regional execution, client escalation, and the critical interfaces with Sales, Support, and Client Success.
 

Key responsibilities

Delivery leadership

• Own end-to-end delivery performance across the EMEA project portfolio: revenue, utilisation, margin, forecasting accuracy, and client satisfaction
• Lead, develop and performance-manage the EMEA delivery organisation, including the programme/project management function and its leadership
• Act as senior escalation point for delivery risk, project health, and client concerns across the region
• Drive adoption of Aderant's global delivery methodology, AI-enabled delivery practices, and quality standards within the region

Sales partnership and regional scoping support

• Provide senior regional scoping and estimation input in support of the global Services Revenue/GTM process, ensuring EMEA engagements are shaped with delivery reality built in
• Build strong working relationships with regional sales leadership and account teams, acting as the senior delivery voice in the region
• Ensure regional delivery knowledge is systematised and accessible — reducing dependency on individual expertise and institutionalising best practice

Cross-functional operating rhythm

• Establish and run disciplined operating interfaces with Sales, Support and Client Success — defined intake routes, response standards and escalation paths in place of informal, individual-dependent working patterns
• Represent EMEA delivery in global PS forums, contributing regional insight to global standards, methodology and capability planning
• Support workforce and capacity planning for the region, including the effective use of global and low-cost delivery capacity as the operating model evolves

Client leadership

• Maintain senior, trusted relationships with key EMEA clients through delivery and into live operation
• Champion outcome quality and time-to-value as the measures of delivery success, aligned to Aderant's client experience strategy

What success looks like (first 12 months)

• EMEA delivery runs to plan — utilisation, forecast accuracy and project CSAT at or above target — without routine escalation above this role
• Regional delivery knowledge and scoping input is consistent, documented and independent of any single individual
• Sales, Support and Services operate through defined interfaces with measurably reduced ad-hoc demand on the delivery organisation
• The regional leadership bench beneath this role is visibly stronger, with clear development and succession in place

Candidate profile

• Substantial professional services delivery leadership experience in enterprise software, ideally legal technology or adjacent regulated sectors
• Proven ownership of a services P&L or delivery portfolio of comparable scale, including utilisation, margin and forecasting disciplines
• Strong scoping and estimation craft: able to provide senior delivery input to commercial shaping and coach others to do it well
• Track record of building repeatable, systematised delivery capability — process over heroics
• Credible with C-suite client stakeholders and effective in matrixed, global operating models
• Experience leading delivery transformation — methodology change, AI-enabled delivery practices, or offshore/nearshore capacity models — an advantage
