Management Accountant

We are delighted to bring this role to market, an established ASX-listed organisation is seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a broad Finance Business Partnering role, supporting operational leaders while gaining exposure across a large, complex organisation.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Acting Manager – Management Accounting, you will provide financial and commercial support to a contracting business and play a key role in driving business performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Project reporting and financial analysis
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Financial modelling and reporting
• Management reporting
• Business partnering with operational and leadership teams
• Supporting commercial decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

You are a proactive and analytical finance professional with strong commercial acumen and the ability to build effective relationships across the business. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are confident managing competing priorities.

To be successful, you will ideally have:

• Experience within a contracting, services or labour-intensive business
• Experience extracting and analysing data from ERP systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• A continuous improvement mindset

A degree in Accounting or Commerce together with CA/CPA qualification (or progress towards completion) and relevant management accounting experience will be highly regarded.
