We are seeking Manufacturing Production Machine Operators to join our already great team. Our Manufacturing Production Machine Operators can work in a number of roles, including:

• Assembly Operator
• Casting Operator
• Melting Operator
• Shot Blast Operator
• Heat Treat Operator
• CNC Operator
• Core Operator

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Production Machine Operator in Ridgeville.

Dress code for all candidates:

• Long Sleeve
• Steel toe leather boots
• Safety glasses

Shifts:

• 1^st shift 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri
• 2^nd shift 3pm-11:30pm Mon-Fri
• 3^rd shift 11pm-7:30am Sun- Thurs

1^st Shift - $17.00 per hour

2^nd Shift - $17.50 per hour (shift differential)

3^rd Shift - $18.00 per hour (shift differential)

Responsibilities of a Production Machine Operator includes:

• Fully support the Safety programs.
• Acquire job assignment from Team Leader.
• Support the team and the team members.
• Operate production equipment as assigned.
• Perform product inspection.
• Perform standardized work as instructed by Team Leader.
• Perform operator maintenance tasks within his/her team.
• Increase his/her competence to be able to maintain and continuously improve his/her activities.
• Contribute to a good work environment.
• Support new activities, improvements, and reorganizations.
• Assist with training, either training newer employees or filling in so that personnel can be setup for training.

Job Requirements of a Production Machine Operator:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing Lean Certificate preferred.
• 1-year manufacturing experience OR1-year military experience OR 1-year general labor experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong attention to details.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job such as lifting and moving up to 50 lbs., standing for extended periods, bending, squatting or kneeling. · Availability to work any shift.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.
