Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a dynamic team. This role serves as the primary point of contact for a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance clients, ensuring client needs are met with expert service and tailored solutions. The ideal candidate will excel in managing client accounts, building strong relationships, and providing customized insurance support.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned commercial insurance clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and delivering exceptional service.
- Manage renewal processes by reviewing policies, identifying coverage gaps, and recommending appropriate solutions to meet client needs.
- Coordinate with insurance carriers to provide timely quotes, address underwriting concerns, and ensure the accuracy of policy documentation.
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients by providing tailored advice, proactive communication, and comprehensive account management.
- Process policy endorsements, cancellations, and audits with efficiency and accuracy.
- Negotiate terms, coverage, and premiums with carriers to secure the best options for clients.
- Stay well-informed on industry trends, regulatory updates, and market developments to provide clients with timely and relevant insights.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including producers and support staff, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and organized client records within the agency management system.
- Assist with claims management by providing support to clients during the claims process.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Prior experience in commercial lines insurance account management or a related role.
- P&C (Property and Casualty) License.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, endorsements, and underwriting processes.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build trust and rapport with clients and team members.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in using agency management software (e.g., AMS360, Applied Epic) and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Proven problem-solving ability with a client-focused mindset.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
