JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Primary responsibility entails driving revenue generation and growth from the assigned list of clients or agencies through proactive hunting and strategic relationship building to ensure targets are met or exceeded by delivering impactful packages and proposals to drive sales.
1. Drive Revenue Growth & Sales Performance
- Own and deliver revenue targets from an assigned portfolio of clients and agencies by proactively identifying opportunities, acquiring new business, growing existing accounts, and securing advertising investments through impactful sales proposals and solutions.
2. Lead Strategic Solutioning & Proposal Development
- Develop a deep understanding of clients’ business objectives, market challenges, brand priorities, product launches, and advertising budgets. Position Astro’s platforms and solutions as the most effective channels to achieve clients’ marketing objectives and business growth.
- Proactively secure quality campaign briefs (CPRs) and translate client needs into integrated, insight-driven advertising solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals and recommendations that deliver measurable outcomes and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Partner with Content, Product, Marketing, Digital, Group Data, and other stakeholders to develop scalable advertising solutions, identify market-driven opportunities, and unlock new revenue streams that grow Astro’s advertising business.
3. Own End-to-End Campaign Success
- Act as the primary point of contact (PIC) for clients throughout the campaign lifecycle, ensuring seamless execution across all platforms, achievement of agreed KPIs, and delivery of post-campaign insights and recommendations that strengthen client partnerships and drive future growth.
4. Trade & Targeted Client Engagement Events:
- Represent Astro Media Solutions at trade events and client events to effectively communicate Astro’s capabilities, credentials, and business updates to reinforce Astro’s position as the ideal advertising partner for clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
WHO YOU ARE:
- Degree/Diploma holders in Business/Advertising/Commerce/Communications or in any relevant field
- Preferably min 3 years working experience in media and advertising industry.
- Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and/or other languages is an added advantage.
- Resourceful, self-motivated with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams
- Strong team player
- Results -oriented
- Able to organize resources, present sales pitch and reports, and coordinate project work
- PC literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel
