About the Role

The Navigation Care Coordinator, as part of the Health Navigation team, assists employees and beneficiaries with administrative processes following a death. Responsibilities include handling inbound calls to assess needs and provide guidance. The role requires exceptional customer service skillset, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-touch guidance by taking ownership of death process details and being a single point of contact when a death is reported.
• Educating and act as a trusted partner throughout the death process.
• Identifying best form of communication through the death process.
• Identifying and provide explanation of benefits available.
• Setting clear expectations on information needed to process death claims via the various vendors.
• Coordinating the gathering of specific information required for filing claims, enrolling in applicable benefits and ensuring benefits are distributed accordingly and timely.
• Providing directives when additional information may be needed for processing claims, where applicable, and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Documenting all research, email and phone communication within the case management system.
• Facilitating vendor connections through warm transfers or by providing contact information.
• Adhering to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements. with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position.

Requirements

• Possess sound written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess excellent customer service and customer resolution skills.
• Able to be Flexible and adaptable with a demonstrated ability to reorganize priorities as business needs change.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Possess BenAdministration experience for one year or more is required.
• Possess Basic understanding of industry terminology.
• Possess attention to detail, time management and decision-making skills
• Able to navigate multiple technical environments using different hardware and software platforms, including the Windows environment.
• Possess School diploma required, Two years relevant experience in telephonic customer service.

Salary Pay Range

Minimum :

43,600.00 USD

Maximum :

43,680.00 USD
