Verizon’s Supply Chain Services is modernizing the Global Strategic Sourcing Group and seeks a dynamic professional to join our team.

Sourcing Sr Manager, Total Value Optimization (TVO) & Growth plays a key role in supporting Verizon's Customer Experience, Connectivity & Partnerships (CECP) categories, enabling Sourcing and cross-functional teams to achieve strategic and financial objectives. In this role, you will map end-to-end  category journeys, conduct financial risk assessments, and collaborate with cross-functional business partners to drive process excellence, value optimization and revenue growth.

What you’ll be doing…

• Owning the conception, scoping, and implementation of cross-functional programs to maximize total value optimization (TVO) and elevate customer success outcomes.

• Providing high-impact assessments, strategic vision, and data-backed recommendations directly to CECP and category leadership.

• Delivering targeted initiatives that boost revenue and margins, reduce operating expenses, and enhance cross-business efficiency.

• Cultivating strong collaborative partnerships across Sourcing, Supply Chain, and broader business units to ensure strategic cohesion.

• Conducting rigorous data modeling and hypothesis testing to validate strategic directions and guide project execution.

• Partnering across Device, Marketing, Towers, Carrier Management, and Government Sourcing groups to architect modern tools and streamlined workflows.

• Communicating project milestones, key performance metrics, and risk management strategies directly to senior stakeholders.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related technical discipline and or equivalent work experience.

• Relevant professional experience in sourcing, original equipment manufacturing (OEM), telecommunications, or a financial firm.

• Proven experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic international business environment.

• Proven track record of managing multiple simultaneous projects to time, cost, and quality standards.

Even better if you have: 

• Track record of handling extremely confidential information appropriately.

• An advanced university degree is highly desired.

• Ability to drive results at all levels of the organization, regardless of formal reporting structures.

• Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills, including the ability to conduct internal/external research, analyze data, and utilize Google Sheets, Qlik, AI tools and platforms, and other tools effectively to develop models and drive analyses.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to create impactful presentations using GoogleSlide and present to all levels of management.

• Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking that results in new ideas driving the business forward.

• Comfort working up and across the organization—collaborating seamlessly with senior staff members and front-line employees alike.

• Prior experience working within a tier-1 management consulting organization.

• Experience or formal certification in Agile, Design Thinking, or Empathy interview techniques.

• A foundational appreciation for the regulatory and tax landscape.
