Finance & Control department in Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is a part of Global Finance organization and responsible for full accounting and financial reporting cycle for Circle K European operations. Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for:

Specialist Finance  in Accounts Payable team

Type of Employment: Permanent

Location: Riga, Latvia 

Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)  

Main responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices. 

• Reconcile supplier accounts, investigate, and resolve discrepancies. 

• Participate in month-end closing activities according to the reporting schedule. 

• Respond to supplier inquiries and collaborate with internal teams. 

• Ensure accurate and timely handling of Accounts Payable tasks. 

• Ensure Accounts Payable documentation and work instructions are kept accurate and up to date. 

• Continuously evaluate Accounts Payable processes, identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and operational efficiency. 

Main requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics. 

• Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel. 

• Fluency in English (to communicate with colleagues across Europe) and Latvian, both written and spoken 

• Strong communication and collaboration skills. 

• A precise, analytical, organized, and stress-resistant personality. 

• A proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and a strong team-player attitude. 

• Previous accounting experience will be considered an advantage.
