Job Description

As a Security Officer Digital Access Administration in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a dynamic automotive location. You will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. Working with a collaborative team, you will help maintain a secure environment while demonstrating our agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of automotive manufacturing, warehouse, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and vehicle traffic in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Possess a guard card or license, preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
