Schedule & Work Environment
This position supports Colorado Regional Operations and requires regular interaction with leaders and employees across multiple locations.
Travel throughout the Colorado market may be required to support operations, employee meetings, investigations, recruiting activities, training programs, and other business initiatives.
While standard business hours generally apply, occasional flexibility may be needed to support operational priorities.

What You'll Do
Employee Relations & Business Partnership
- Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers throughout the region.
- Provide guidance regarding company policies, procedures, and employment practices.
- Assist managers with performance management, coaching, corrective action, and employee development.
- Investigate employee concerns and workplace issues while ensuring consistent and fair application of policies.
- Partner with operational leaders to support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Talent Acquisition & Talent Management
- Partner with leaders to support recruiting and workforce planning efforts.
- Assist with interviewing, selection, and onboarding processes.
- Support succession planning and employee development initiatives.
- Help identify opportunities to strengthen hiring, retention, and employee growth.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Support wage and hour compliance, leave administration, workers' compensation, and unemployment processes.
- Conduct audits of employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee information.
- Support compliance training and required certifications.
HR Operations
- Process employee status changes including promotions, transfers, compensation adjustments, and separations.
- Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee records and reporting.
- Analyze workforce trends and provide reporting to leadership.
- Support payroll-related processes and employee data integrity.
- Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and employee experience.
Culture & Engagement
- Support employee recognition and engagement programs.
- Facilitate HR-related training and development initiatives.
- Participate in employee meetings, town halls, and organizational events.
- Promote LAZ Parking's mission, values, and culture throughout the region.
Team & Operational Excellence
- Partner closely with operations leadership to align people strategies with business objectives.
- Contribute to regional and corporate HR initiatives.
- Support change management efforts and organizational growth.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Experience supporting employee relations, policy interpretation, and performance management.
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR technology platforms.
Preferred
- Experience supporting multi-site operations or service-based organizations.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
- Experience with HRIS, payroll, and applicant tracking systems.
- Experience supporting hourly and exempt employee populations.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Occasionally stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Travel throughout the Colorado region as business needs require.
- Communicate effectively in person, by phone, video conference, and email.
