This is a place to keep growing. You’ll learn from the best, take on meaningful challenges, and make a lasting impact for our clients, our communities, and Aotearoa.
Ngā kōrero mo tēnei tūranga / About the role
PwC’s Transaction Services team is part of our Deals practice and primarily delivers financial due diligence services. The team supports clients through important transactions by helping them understand financial performance, risks and opportunities.
We have two opportunities to join our Auckland-based team, with flexibility to appoint at Analyst, Senior Analyst or Manager level depending on experience and capability. These roles are based in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland.
Your day-to-day could include:
Analysing profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow information using Excel and other analysis tools
Reviewing historical and forecast performance, working capital trends, and net debt or debt-like items
Speaking with management teams to understand the story behind the numbers and interpret findings
Turning analysis into clear, accurate and well-structured client reports
Collaborating with Transaction Services, Corporate Finance and wider Deals specialists
Using appropriate tools, including A.I.-enabled tools, carefully and securely to support efficient, high-quality work
At Analyst or Senior Analyst level, you’ll focus on high-quality analysis, identifying key findings and contributing to client-ready reports and deliverables.
At Manager level, you’ll lead small engagements, manage client interactions, review analysis and reports, and coach one or two junior team members.
These are full-time, permanent roles, each with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of deal work, there may be times when tight deadlines require additional hours.
