Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Presence Patrol in Riverview, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a caring, reliable team that puts people first, acts with integrity, and delivers innovative service through teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities supply and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts, following established reporting and escalation protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
