Healthcare Equipment is increasingly being able to provide data about its performance and activity. This data, rightfully treated, is able to provide extremely useful information about the availability, productivity and safety of the equipment activity.

To do this, proper KPI, aligned with customer strategy and reguirements must be designed and proper tools developed.

GE HealthCare is developing a library of KPI focused in increasing the availablity, productivuty and safery of its medical equipment, by using GE HealthCare information systems and AI tools.

As an Intern - Service Analytics at General Electric Healthcare Espana, SA, you will support the service operations team by analyzing data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction for healthcare equipment in Spain. Job Description

Job Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze service data from various sources, including field service reports, customer feedback, and equipment performance metrics.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service operations.
• Identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement in service delivery processes.
• Assist in creating predictive models to forecast equipment failures or service needs.
• Collaborate with service managers and engineers to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Support ad-hoc data requests and analytical projects as needed.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data collection and analysis methodologies.
  

Qualifications and requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a relevant field such as Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related discipline. We consider students currently in their final year of study who are eligible to provide a University internship agreement (convenio de prácticas).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken) is required.
• Familiarity with healthcare industry or service operations is a plus, but not required.
