Join our Point of Care business as Head of Site Manufacturing and lead a high-performing manufacturing organization responsible for the safe, compliant, reliable and competitive delivery of products to customers. You will translate business and operations strategy into site execution, strengthen operational excellence and build the capabilities required for sustainable performance and future growth.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• You have end-to-end leadership responsibility for manufacturing performance at the site, including safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity and people outcomes.
• You translate the Point of Care business and manufacturing strategy into a clear site roadmap, operating plan, targets and measurable performance indicators.
• You ensure reliable production output and customer supply by aligning capacity, materials, equipment, workforce and contingency plans with demand.
• You establish robust performance management routines, identify root causes and ensure timely, sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
• You build a strong quality and compliance culture, ensuring manufacturing activities meet applicable regulatory requirements, quality-system requirements and company standards.
• You lead continuous improvement through the Healthineers Performance System and appropriate lean methods, including value-stream optimization, structured problem solving, visual management and coaching.
• You drive productivity, cost competitiveness, technology and automation initiatives while safeguarding product quality, employee safety and supply continuity.
• You oversee site operating budgets, investments and financial performance, ensuring disciplined prioritization and transparent business cases.
• You partner closely with Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, R&D, Finance, EHS, HR, IT and other sites to resolve issues, industrialize products and optimize the broader manufacturing network.
• You ensure manufacturing readiness for new products, transfers and lifecycle changes, with effective risk management and cross-functional governance.
• You develop the site organization, leadership team and succession pipeline, creating an inclusive, accountable and learning-oriented culture.
• You represent the site in business and functional governance and maintain constructive relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Your qualifications and experience

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations, supply chain, business administration or a comparable discipline; an advanced degree is an advantage.
• You bring extensive, progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or operations, ideally within medical technology, diagnostics, life sciences, pharmaceuticals or another highly regulated industry.
• You have successfully led a complex manufacturing site or a substantial multi-layer production organization with accountability for operational and financial results.
• You demonstrate strong knowledge of regulated manufacturing, quality-management systems, EHS requirements and risk-based operational decision-making.
• You have a successful track record in operational excellence, lean transformation, productivity improvement and sustainable change management.
• You understand production planning, capacity management, materials flow, inventory, industrial engineering and manufacturing technology.
• You have experience leading product industrialization, technology transfer, ramp-up or major site transformation initiatives.
• You are comfortable using data, digital tools and performance analytics to drive decisions, transparency and continuous improvement.
• You are fluent in English; local language requirements should be added according to the site.

The base pay range for this position is:

$240,000 - $330,000

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
