About the Role
As a Registered Nurse / Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical care and supporting positive patient experiences within a busy and collaborative practice environment. Working alongside GPs and allied health professionals, you will contribute to the delivery of comprehensive healthcare services while promoting preventative health and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with best practice standards.
- Conduct health assessments and chronic disease management activities.
- Administer immunisations, injections, and medications.
- Assist with care plans, recalls, health screenings, and preventive health initiatives.
- Provide patient education and support to encourage positive health outcomes.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
- Collaborate effectively with GPs, nurses, and the broader healthcare team.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, accreditation, and clinical governance requirements.
What You'll Need
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Previous experience in a General Practice, Primary Care, or Community Health setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills.
- Experience with immunisations, care plans, and chronic disease management is highly regarded.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
