Inside the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Engineering & Corrective Action Team Supervisor to join our Cleveland Truck Manufacturing Plant. As a supervisor you will play a key role in maintaining product and process compliance and continuous improvement in support of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System at DTNA’s Cleveland Truck Manufacturing Plant. Position offers a starting salary range of $95,000- $121,000 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive At DTNA
Quality Management System, Problem Solving and Compliance:
Serve as Lead Auditor to ensure plant functions are compliant with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Provide support in the accomplishment of the Plant quality goals as defined by the Management Review Committee.
Prepare and participate in Management Review meetings for ISO 9001 compliance.
Provide support to all departments to maintain and update the ISO documentation.
Administer and provide document control of Inspector Standard Work Instructions.
Initiate, maintain, and verify FRACAS issues related to plant system process quality (ISO 9001).
Support Quality Manager with Compliance, Customer Quality, or improvement initiatives
Perform/participate/direct failure analysis investigations as required and complete failure analysis reports to document results.
Coach and utilize problem solving tools on systemic issues and be able to determine root cause and corrective actions and countermeasures.
Make decisions based on data analysis and knowledge of engineering principles.
Customer Quality Assurance:
Responsible for Cleveland 30-day warranty metric including monitoring, analysis, reporting, and prioritization for corrective action.
Responsible for Dealer Product Reports (DPR) including contacting dealers for clarification of quality issues on new vehicles for plant corrective action. Escalate Design, Supplier, or External issues as needed from problem solving.
Administer, monitor, and validate corrective actions related to DPRs and 30-day Warranty. Report summary status and progress to top management on regular basis.
Team Mentoring, Development & Staffing:
Mentor and guide the Document Control Coordinator (DCC) to maintain and update all ISO documents at the Cleveland Truck Plant.
Lead and mentor the Corrective Action Team.
Support the Training matrix by continually evaluating and developing Team Leader and employee skill level as required to increase flexibility and meet safety goals.
Make staffing decisions, including hiring, firing, rewarding, training, and developing employees within the QA Engineering department.
Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
Continuous Improvement and TOS Quality Tools:
Promote and execute TOS problem solving techniques across the plant to improve plant flow and resolve quality problems within the plant as well as external customers.
Provide support to all departments with the implementation of Quality subsystem of TOS.
Train and mentor Corrective Action Team members in the application of TOS Quality tools, fostering their growth and development.
Utilize or support PFMEA to continually improve plant processes.
Knowledge You Should Bring
Bachelors' degree in Engineering or related field and 3-5 years of relevant experience required
In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, customer quality assurance, and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and methodologies for quality improvement (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Principles, A3, PRT).
Proficiency with MS Office.
Communication and Leadership:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with customers, leadership team, and cross-functional teams across the organization.
Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to analyze complex data and drive data-based decision making.
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
Previous manager/supervisory experience.
Certification or training in ISO 9001:2015 and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
Certification or training with advanced quality tools (example Six Sigma) for resolving complex and systemic problems.
Excellent negotiation skills: Ability to effectively negotiate with external and internal stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes and mutually beneficial agreements.
