HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
As a Stock Controller, you will be instrumental in maintaining an organised and efficient sales floor, ensuring optimal stock levels, and contributing to a seamless shopping experience. You will also play a key role in supporting and developing your team members.
Merchandise Management: Efficiently stock and organise merchandise on sales floors, ensuring an appealing, safe, and customer-friendly shopping environment.
Operational Excellence: Execute a broad range of operational tasks, applying established procedures and problem-solving skills to ensure efficient service delivery and adherence to performance standards.
Inventory Control: Accurately perform routine inventory tasks, including stocking, replenishment, and cycle counts, while strictly adhering to established procedures.
Team Development: Provide training and coaching to colleagues on effective inventory management, merchandising best practices, and handling non-routine transactional activities.
Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, adeptly managing and resolving complex or unique customer inquiries and issues to ensure satisfaction.
Workflow Coordination: Organise and manage work schedules, coordinate effectively with support services, and delegate short-term tasks to team members to ensure timely completion of objectives.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with all mandatory safety procedures and protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment, to maintain a safe working environment for all.
Performance & Prioritization: Prioritize and manage workflow effectively to meet quality and timeliness standards, leveraging performance management tools for continuous personal and team improvement.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
Proven experience and a solid understanding of operational procedures and inventory management systems.
Ability to provide guidance and support to team members.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a strong customer service orientation.
A strong commitment to safety, compliance, and maintaining a high-quality work environment.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a dynamic retail environment.
