What can you expect in this role? You will serve as the dedicated program leader and central point of accountability for Mott’s relationship with a major semiconductor OEM. The role coordinates QLTC activities (quality, logistics, technical, & cost), active development programs, qualified production programs, and cross-functional actions that influence overall customer satisfaction. You’ll work closely with engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, customer service, and commercial teams to translate customer priorities into clear plans, maintain ownership across organizational handoffs, and ensure risks and commitments remain visible.  Day to day, you’ll organize the full portfolio of customer activities: maintaining integrated schedules and action trackers, leading recurring customer and internal reviews, coordinating development and industrialization milestones, monitoring delivery and quality performance, supporting cost and sustainability initiatives, and driving timely closure of escalations. This is an individual contributor role with broad influence, high customer visibility, and a direct impact on execution, revenue growth, and the long-term customer

Responsibilities:

• Portfolio and customer ownership. Serve as the central coordinator for all production, development, qualification, and improvement activities; maintain clear ownership, priorities, and communication across the account.

• Cross-functional execution. Translate customer requirements and commitments into integrated plans and deliverables across Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Commercial.

• Customer reviews and communication. Prepare for and lead recurring program reviews, QLTC discussions, business reviews, and escalation meetings; provide accurate status, risks, decisions, and recovery plans.

• Financial and commercial management. Develop and manage program budgets, forecasts, revenue outlook, and cost performance; identify financial risks, drive mitigation actions, and support quotations, cost-reduction initiatives, and profitable growth.

• Product launch and industrialization. Lead new product development, qualification, and production readiness activities to achieve successful product launches and seamless transition into stable qualified production.

• Performance and continuous improvement. Monitor delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction; use data and structured problem-solving to drive improvement and prevent recurrence.

• Manage a broad portfolio of production, development, quality, cost, and relationship priorities for a highly demanding strategic customer.

• Drive timely decisions and accountability across functions without direct authority over all resources.

• Balance urgent customer escalations with long-term development, industrialization, and continuous improvement work.

• Maintain one clear version of status across multiple customer and Mott stakeholders, programs, and review cadences.

• Deliver customer production & development open orders on time and in accordance with committed schedules

• Support achievement of customer revenue, margin, growth, delivery, quality, and customer-satisfaction objectives.

• Manage program budgets, forecasts, and spending to achieve financial targets while minimizing cost overruns

• Maintain clear, timely communication of program status, risks, actions, decisions, and escalation needs.

• Establish stable handoffs from development through industrialization and qualified production

• Improve portfolio visibility and reduce missed commitments, recurring issues, and avoidable escalations.

Required:

• BS degree in Engineering

• Program or project management experience in a complex manufacturing or engineered-product environment.

• Experience leading cross-functional teams and customer-facing reviews.

• Experience with schedules, risk management, action tracking, financial forecasting, variance analysis, and recovery planning.

• Semiconductor equipment, high-purity components, or strategic OEM account experience preferred.

• PMP or equivalent formal project/program management training preferred.

Total Rewards

The compensation range for this position is $99,800.00 - $149,600.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
