Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Ingeniero de Manufactura & Mejora Continua.

Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. ## What you’ll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

A. The Sr. Industrial Engineer leads deployment of ECIS and CIF for Eaton’s Aguascalientes manufacturing site and is champion of Cost Out management.

B. Job duties support the creation and implementation of standards, input to CI strategy, and. coordination of Kaizen Level 3 events such as RIE’s / BPI, additional to Kaizen Blitz that will lead to improvements in factory margins, product delivery performance, employee safety and reductions in product/process abnormality. Facilitates and trains as LTL the headcount balance & execute cost out projects while supporting the production plan. Leads annual IDB process for cost out identification.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

A. Works through the leadership team to lead the development and implementation of the sites ECIS (VSM, 5S+, SW, SUR & LMF), actions, training and cross-functional activities including Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs).

B. Leads CI Tracker management and cost out pipeline.

C. Participates in Eaton Lean System (ECIS) assessments and identify performance gaps. Works supporting CI manager with the leadership team to prioritize improvement activities and close gaps.

D. Provides Lean and Industrial Engineering support across the organization to drive short-term and long term business improvements.

E. Utilizes Lean tools to eliminate waste driving customer satisfaction, cost reduction.

F. Supports as facilitator the continuous improvement (Lean and Six Sigma) team. Assists in improvement activities including training, mentoring, facilitating Kaizen events, Six Sigma projects, tool deployment, benchmarking, etc.: as Lean tool leader or expert.

G. Assure environmental, health and safety requirements are satisfied when the projects are implemented.

H. Coordinate’s efforts in site to maintain optimum line balancing (head count)

I. Participates in OpA assessments for guidance on ECIS criteria.

J. Leads CIF improvement projects in the facility (standardization)

K. Implements, promotes and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control and administer risk and danger in own area.

L. Promotes the company’s vision by actively supporting Eaton’s ethics and values as well as quality policies.

M. Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.

## Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

A. 4+ years of related experience

B. Bachelor’s degree

C. Bi-lingual (Spanish and English)

D. Drive for results and willing to learn continuously.

E. Excellent communication skills & Strong analytical skills

F. Proficient in Power Point, Excel, SolidWorks (3D), AutoCAD (2D)

G. Ability to support in multiple projects/activities.

H. Experience in core ECIS tools (VSM, 5S+, Standard Work, Setup Reduction, Kanban, Problem Solving, TPM)

I. Financial knowledge in order to calculate baselines, improvements in P&L and cost out

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal training/certification in Lean tools (5S, Standard work, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Setup Reduction (SUR), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean Material Flow (LMF) and 6 Sigma with at least 5 years of related experience.
• Hard Savings & Kaizen execution prior experience
• Automotive industry experience minimum 3 year
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly processes, equipment technology, and equipment capability.
• Line Balancing experience in any manufacturing experience.
• Expertise with IATF 16949
