Registered Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory Therapy – PRN
Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital, stand-alone, not-for-profit hospital located in Ste. Genevieve, MO, that focuses on personalized care. What to expect as a Respiratory Therapist:
- Safely administer Respiratory Care services and procedures as ordered by Physicians.
- Consult with other Hospital personnel and Physicians appropriately.
- Communicate well, have excellent customer service, and strong team-building skills.
- Make clinical decisions whenever necessary and be able to work independently.
- Exhibit competency in performing all procedures performed by the Respiratory Therapy Department as outlined by the Policy and Procedure Manuals.
- Maintain and clean equipment used within the Respiratory Therapy Department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Attend in-service activities to further staff development.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited CoARC Respiratory Care Program.
- Certified and/or Registered and have current Missouri Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
- One to two years of previous Respiratory Therapy experience desired, and some Pulmonary Function experience preferred.
