Job Family Definition:

Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams. Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers’ business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers’ businesses. As trusted advisor create and maintain effective customer relationships so as to insure customer satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of leading edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge. Actively contribute to the company’s solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects. Shape technical direction and technical strategies within the organization and for external customers. Accountable for consistent and significant chargeability levels (or expense relief for internal project teams) and for assisting in meeting or exceeding revenue and customer satisfaction goals. Contribute to organization’s profitability by generating and cultivating new business opportunities and by providing technical support for deal proposal development.

Management Level Definition:

Contributions impact technical components of HPE products, solutions, or services regularly and sustainable. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for achieving objectives. May provide team leadership and mentoring to others.

Responsibilities:

• Verify and implement detailed technical designs based on project needs.
• Develop enterprise-level technical solutions.
• Lead technical assessments and solution delivery to clients.
• Manage team performance and lifecycle.
• Coordinate installation, design, and migration activities across networks, applications, or platforms.
• Provide advanced technical consulting, including proposal support, system tuning, and solution modifications.
• Contribute to company strategy and client needs analysis.
• Respond to technical inquiries and develop solutions using industry-standard products.
• Engage in innovative problem-solving across technologies.
• Share knowledge within the community, produce technical materials, and present at conferences.
• Support sales activities, manage bids, and grow existing customer portfolios.

Education & Experience:

• 8+ years of professional experience with a relevant Bachelor’s degree; 11+ years without a degree.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Broad and deep technical expertise across multiple technologies.
• Proven innovation, communication, and leadership in delivering solutions.
• Ability to design solutions improving system availability, performance, and agility.
• Experience in developing new tools and solutions, reusing existing expertise.
• Strong understanding of architectural dependencies.
• Recognized as an expert in at least one technology area.
• Effective communication with senior management.
• Troubleshooting skills across complex, multi-technology environments.
• Ability to identify sales opportunities and contribute to proposals.
• Capable of managing teams and delivering comprehensive solution implementations.

This role requires a combination of technical mastery, leadership, client engagement, and strategic contribution, typically held by a senior-level professional with extensive industry experience.
