What this job involves:

As Director of Office Leasing Advisory in Pune, you'll lead strategic initiatives to shape commercial real estate solutions for corporate clients across this dynamic market. This role centers on building and nurturing high-value relationships with corporate decision-makers, developers, and C-suite executives while driving revenue through advisory services and transaction execution. You'll provide sophisticated advisory services including lease versus buy analysis, off-balance sheet strategies, and market entry planning, while managing complex transactions from concept through closure. What your day-to-day will look like:

• Proactively drive business development through targeted networking, leveraging cross-business unit relationships, and cultivating strategic partnerships with corporate clients and developers across growth sectors

• Build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers including CRE Heads, CFOs, and Administrative Leaders to position JLL as their trusted advisory partner

• Lead end-to-end transaction management for corporate office leasing, encompassing market intelligence, financial analysis, option sourcing, client presentations, site inspections, and negotiations through to successful closure

• Provide high-level advisory services including lease versus buy analysis, REIT strategies, regional asset allocation, and market entry consulting that deliver measurable value to clients

• Develop compelling marketing materials, proposals, and presentations that articulate our unique value proposition and demonstrate deep market expertise

• Conduct comprehensive market coverage analysis to identify and present optimal real estate solutions tailored to each client's specific requirements

• Oversee financial modeling and deliverables including cash flow analysis and investment presentations, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to clients

• Mentor and guide team members to meet individual and collective targets while fostering a culture where everyone is empowered to thrive

• Ensure exceptional client engagement through regular touchpoints, governance protocols, and consistent achievement of delivery and service quality standards

Required qualifications:

• 12+ years of progressive experience in commercial real estate advisory, office leasing, or corporate real estate services

• Proven track record of business development success with demonstrated ability to build and maintain C-suite relationships in corporate environments

• Strong transaction management expertise with experience independently leading complex office leasing deals from initiation through closure

• Advanced financial analysis skills including cash flow modeling, lease economics, and investment analysis for commercial real estate transactions

• Deep understanding of the Pune and broader Western India commercial office markets, including supply-demand dynamics, pricing trends, and emerging submarkets

• Exceptional presentation and communication abilities with experience creating client-facing materials and delivering executive-level presentations

• Demonstrated people management experience with ability to mentor, develop, and lead high-performing teams toward ambitious targets

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field

Preferred qualifications:

• MBA or professional real estate certification (MRICS, CCIM, or equivalent)

• Established network of corporate relationships and developer connections within the Pune market

• Experience providing strategic advisory services beyond transactional brokerage, including portfolio optimization and market entry consulting

• Track record of cross-business collaboration and leveraging internal networks to create comprehensive client solutions

• Familiarity with REIT structures, off-balance sheet strategies, and corporate real estate portfolio strategies

• Experience coordinating with international teams and managing projects with offshore stakeholders
