About the role:
This role sits at the dynamic intersection of Talent Acquisition and Broader People Strategy. Beyond managing end-to-end recruitment, you will act as a strategic partner to organizational leaders—helping them anticipate future team requirements, shape hiring mandates, identify talent gaps, and build the core capabilities needed for our next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Talent Acquisition & Execution
- Own end-to-end recruitment for complex hiring mandates, from initial sourcing and assessment through to offer negotiation and candidate onboarding.
- Partner with senior leadership to design proactive talent strategies and pipeline for business-critical roles.
- Ensure a high-rigor, high-empathy candidate experience that reflects the organization's mission and values.
2. Workforce Planning & Business Partnership
- Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to conduct workforce planning, identify talent priorities, and address evolving organizational needs.
- Support line managers in making better, data-informed people decisions and building strong, resilient teams.
- Help bridge immediate hiring needs with long-term organizational capability building.
3. Talent Analytics & Strategic Insights
- Leverage HR and talent metrics (attrition patterns, source effectiveness, hiring trends, and skill gap analyses) to guide talent decisions.
- Translate raw people data into contextual stories and actionable recommendations for executive leadership.
- Use data-backed insights to continuously refine recruitment processes and broader talent strategies.
Qualifications & Core Competencies
- Experience: 6–10 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partnering, or People Strategy, preferably within fast-paced, high-growth, or mission-driven environments.
- Analytical Mindset: High comfort level working with talent data; ability to connect quantitative metrics with organizational context to drive strategy.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of influencing senior leadership and partnering across teams.
- Problem-Solving & Ownership: High autonomy, strong accountability, and the ability to navigate ambiguous or evolving priorities effectively.
- Mission Alignment: Deep empathy, rigour in decision-making, and a strong passion for contributing to education reform and social impact.
