Responsibilities
GR Senior Demand Planning Analyst role is responsible for:
- Strategic development of Snacks & Beverages Long-term demand forecast and planning for all channels
- Analysis of sales and consumer trends, historical sales data and seasonal patterns to optimize business' capacity to fulfill customer demand per channel and SKU in the most effective manner
- Development and execution of collaborative projects with Sales, Marketing & Supply Chain Teams
- Driving improvements in forecasting accuracy, planning methodology, and overall supply chain efficiency
- Enhancement of digital capabilities (JDA, BI)
- Lead the S&OP Cycle of Long-Term Demand Process for Snacks & Beverages Portfolio for all channels
- Review long term performance by market and channel, prioritise risks and opportunities
- Asses, quantify and incorporate in Demand Plan the Business Building Assumptions (market, commercial plans, new product launches, competition)
- Deliver Long Term Demand Plan per SKU in a monthly basis, as part of the S&OP Cycle
- Analyse & initiate improvements in planning processes and key demand planning metrics: forecast accuracy, bias
- Close collaboration with all Supply Chain (warehouse, supply planning, DRP) taking proactive actions to finally improve customer service and achieve more accurate forecasting and lower costs
- Translate financial data to more meaningful data for trade marketing, marketing, commercial, finance, supply chain regarding PMR, NPDs, e-commerce, Ferrero, etc
- Involved in NPD process for calculation and better accuracy of volumes
- Combine JDA expert role ensuring system’s proper operation and taking initiatives for further rationalization and improvements
- Seeks opportunities to strengthen digital culture through collaboration and sharing knowledge
- Track record of improving processes and participating in cross-functional projects
Qualifications
• Excellent presentation skills to interact with the various commercial functions, partners, finance and sourcing functions
• Master’s degree preferably within Supply Chain or business administration
• Computer skills: Excellent level of MS Office (particularly Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint)
• Solid understanding of SAP system and demand planning systems
• Language Skills: Excellent knowledge of English language
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Demand Planning
•Operates effectively in matrix relationships across organizational boundaries
•Proven ability to work collaboratively with several other functions: supply chain, sales, marketing, finance
