Randall's Restaurant is looking for a Host to join our experienced front-of-house team.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate is friendly, an excellent communicator, and able to work well as part of a team. Candidate must be great with organization, ensuring that reservations are correct, guests are seated in a timely manner, and that the front and back of house staff are kept informed of reservations throughout the evening.
- They must be able to stand for extended periods and should be prepared to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- The position is part-time and includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience is preferred, though not necessary, and training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting guests and providing excellent customer service.
- Full knowledge of the menu with the ability to answer any guests' inquiries.
- Assigning guests to tables and monitoring seating situations at all times.
- Multi-tasking by answering phone calls, taking reservations, answering guest questions, and handling take-out orders.
- Helping out with other positions/duties in the restaurant as needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task.
- Computer knowledge is helpful.
- Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed.
- Ability to stand/be on your feet for 5+ hours.
- Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary.
- Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
Work Setting:
- The position is part-time.
- Open regularly from Tuesday-Saturday (4:00 pm on).
- Private events may be booked outside our normal business hours.
- Weekend and Holiday availability is expected and required for consideration.
