The business also builds capabilities that can be used for a wide range of applications in both traditional and non-traditional environments; providing leadership in the advancement of technological modernisation of complex enterprises within Government.
The Opportunity
The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) is a pivotal, forward‑facing role within the AGO GEO SPACES program—functioning as the strategic bridge between a large, highly technical GEOINT delivery team and senior AGO customers. Part Business Analyst, part Customer Advocate, part Change Partner, the BRM ensures that GEO SPACES capability, services and sustainment outcomes are fully aligned to customer priorities, user needs and organisational readiness.
This role sits as part of the core GEOSPACES leadership team, driving program maturity, organisational change management (OCM), strategic engagement and continuous improvement to enable successful transformation across AGO and Defence.
The BRM is expected to spend meaningful time embedded with the customer environment, building trusted relationships, shaping demand, anticipating needs, and ensuring a positive, holistic end‑to‑end customer experience.
Key Responsibilities include:
Act as the primary liaison between service delivery teams and business divisions, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and trusted stakeholder relationships.
Provide strategic advice on contract delivery, service expectations, and business priorities to senior stakeholders, including executives and service leaders.
Support contract governance, including interpretation, variations, reporting, and governance committee secretariat functions.
Monitor service performance, manage escalations, and ensure issues are addressed through established governance and relationship frameworks.
Partner with Service Delivery Managers to align services with business needs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Build strong strategic partnerships with business leaders by understanding objectives, monitoring customer satisfaction, and informing future service and business strategies.
About You

Experience supporting or leading Organisational Change Management initiatives in complex environments.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder groups.
Experience working with large-scale or mission-critical systems, including Geospatial Intelligence platforms.
Proven ability to operate within government or Defence programs, navigating governance structures, escalation pathways, and competing priorities.
This role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian citizen and hold, or be eligible to obtain, TSPV security clearance with the ability to be successful for a DISA.
If this role interests you, we encourage you to apply. We value different experiences and are interested in the capability and potential you could bring.
