Job Responsibilities
Account Management
Ensure all domestic delivery orders are completed within their required windows
Timely submission of PODs, electronic and hard copy for all customer accounts
Maintain a professional and courteous approach with all customers. Keep the pulse of customer satisfaction
Log and record customer issues, non-conformances and complaints in Qudos in a timely manner
Maintain KPIs and Metrics in support of monthly billing and transit time reporting. All AR/AP invoices must be completed according to company's billing cycles and customer SLAs.
Using meaningful metrics, work with management to identify trends and make suggestions for improvement
Staff Management
Ensure all drivers and riders are completing their daily deliveries on schedule and recording in their run sheets
Maintain staff attendance, PTOs, MC, and run weekly timesheet reporting for payroll purposes.
Hold drivers’ meetings and conduct periodic training.
Operations
Back up the Dispatch Coordinator as and when required. Assign drivers with routes and ad hoc collection/deliveries as needed.
Coordinate daily with Operations and Warehousing and communicate daily manpower and transport requirements
Assist in the loading and unloading of goods as needed
Maintain constant communication with drivers in a timely manner, to ensure orders are on schedule for delivery /collection.
Maintain the company vehicle fleet. Make sure all vehicles are properly maintained according to their service schedules. Ensure vehicles are clean and free of debris.
Make sure all vehicles are properly insured, and all relevant fees and taxes are paid for in a timely manner.
Coordinate with all relevant regulatory bodies (LTA, TP, VICOM, SPF and MNX Insurance) and ensure vehicle incident reports are submitted.
Make suggestions on the types of vehicles needed and or equipment required for operational excellence.
Manage daily transport planning (Milk runs, import/export, small parcel service, and ad hoc/delivery collections)
Job Requirements
Possess at least a Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain, Business Admin or related fields.
Possess a valid Singapore Class 3/4 driving license, as well as a valid forklift license.
Prior experience or working knowledge of CargoWise and/or Transport Management Systems (TMS) will be an advantage.
Demonstrate a strong customer-centric mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative in driving operational effectiveness and resolving issues.
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to supervise, coach, and motivate a team in a fast-paced operational environment is preferred.
Able to prioritize tasks effectively, make sound decisions, and perform well under pressure while meeting operational deadlines.
