Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced trader to join the Global PM Trading team, with responsibility for managing our non-linear trading business during North American trading hours.
Key Responsibilities
Quote, price, and risk manage client flow across the PM volatility markets during the North American trading session
Develop and implement effective risk management strategies in partnership with the global PM trading team to optimize portfolio performance and capital efficiency
Manage and monitor trading positions, ensuring disciplined risk oversight and timely execution of trading decisions
Expand Morgan Stanley's PM franchise by actively supporting and growing trading activity across a diverse client base, including institutional investors, hedge funds, asset managers, banks, and other market participants
Collaborate closely with regional and global trading, sales, and structuring teams to identify opportunities, enhance market coverage, and deliver innovative client solutions
Contribute to the ongoing development of trading strategies, pricing frameworks, and risk management tools across the PM platform
Maintain strong awareness of market developments, volatility dynamics, regulatory changes, and client trends impacting the PM markets

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 - $200,000 per year for Associate and between $225,000 - $250,000 for Vice President at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
