Help ensure high-quality software releases while supporting the rollout and continuous improvement of the SOE tool across training delivery units. You will work within Agile delivery teams, combining hands-on testing, defect management, user support and collaboration with technical and operational stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing
â˘Â   Delivering manual, functional, regression and user acceptance testing (UAT) across software releases
â˘Â   Creating and executing test cases, analysing results and maintaining traceability to requirements and user stories
â˘Â   Identifying, documenting and tracking defects through to resolution using Jira, Azure DevOps or similar tools
â˘Â   Supporting Agile delivery through sprint planning, reviews, release activities and quality assurance processes
â˘Â   Collaborating with developers, analysts, stakeholders and users to improve software quality and user experience
â˘Â   Supporting the SOE rollout through user guidance, feedback gathering, enhancement testing and adoption activities
â˘Â   Contributing to continuous improvement and quality assurance best practice across delivery teams
What You'll Need
Essential
â˘Â   GCSE Maths and English at Grade 6 or above, or an equivalent qualification
â˘Â   Experience in software testing, quality assurance or application support
â˘Â   Experience creating and executing test cases and managing software defects
â˘Â   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
â˘Â   Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications
â˘Â   Experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
â˘Â   The ability to obtain and maintain Security Clearance
Desirable
â˘Â   ISTQB Foundation Certification or an equivalent software testing qualification
â˘Â   Experience working in Agile delivery environments and using Jira, Azure DevOps or similar tools
â˘Â   Knowledge of regression testing, UAT, risk-based testing and test design techniques
â˘Â   Experience supporting users through software implementation, training or process change
â˘Â   Understanding of TAFMIS applications, planning processes or JPA
