What You'll Do
As an Occupational Therapist, you'll help residents improve their functional abilities, independence, and quality of life through individualized, goal-oriented therapy.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
Help residents improve independence with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and functional mobility.
Evaluate resident progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
Supervise and support Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care.
Participate in Patient Care Conferences and Utilization Review meetings.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
Provide education and training to residents, caregivers, and families.
Assist with safe and effective discharge planning.
Communicate with physicians regarding treatment updates, resident progress, and care recommendations.
Qualifications
Current California Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing
New graduates are encouraged to apply
