Description
This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced investigators, access state-of-the-art resources and technologies, publish impactful research, and engage in professional development activities.
Key Responsibilities
Design, execute, and analyze research projects independently and in collaboration with team members.
Develop and implement experimental, computational, clinical, or translational research methodologies as appropriate to the field of study.
Collect, interpret, and communicate research findings.
Prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
Present research findings at laboratory meetings, institutional seminars, and scientific conferences.
Contribute to grant proposals, progress reports, and other scholarly activities.
Maintain accurate and organized research records and documentation.
Collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and external partners.
Mentor graduate students, research assistants, and other trainees as appropriate.
Participate in professional development opportunities, including scientific communication, leadership, and grant-writing training.
Adhere to institutional policies, research compliance requirements, and safety regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D., M.D., Pharm.D., D.O., or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant scientific, engineering, health sciences, or related field.
Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research.
Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Record of scholarly achievement, including peer-reviewed publications, presentations, or other research accomplishments.
Experience with methodologies, tools, or technologies relevant to the research area.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a research team.
Interest in mentoring and professional development.
Experience with grant writing, data analysis, or project management is desirable but not required.
