As a Senior Sales Manager, you’ll take a lead role in proactively identifying, soliciting, and managing group business within your assigned markets and graphical territories. You’ll play a key part in maximizing revenue, achieving personal and team sales goals, and ensuring our clients receive the highest level of service from first contact to final execution.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Respond Promptly to all assigned leads to ensure timely engagement and conversion.
- Drive Results through persistent follow-up, client engagement, and contract negotiation with integrity.
- Prospect New Business via outbound sales calls, direct outreach, and market research in assigned verticals.
- Cultivate Relationships with new and existing accounts to increase loyalty, repeat business, and referrals.
- Prepare Contracts & Proposals in line with Pyramid Global Hospitality standards.
- Conduct Creative Site Inspections to impress and inspire confidence in potential clients.
- Attend Industry Events such as trade shows and association meetings to promote our property and connect with meeting planners.
- Collaborate Internally with operational teams to ensure seamless execution of group events.
- Monitor Trends and stay informed on market shifts to adjust strategies and remain competitive.
- Manage Your Pipeline to track leads, tentatives, and booked business accurately.
- Meet and Exceed Sales Goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
What are we looking for?
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in hotel/resort group sales, with a demonstrated ability to close and grow business.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in computers and sales systems including Delphi, CVENT, and Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to convey ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Analytical Thinker: Ability to interpret data, spot trends, and recommend strategies to drive results.
- Self-Starter & Team Player: Works independently yet thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Multitasker: Juggles multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting with confidence and efficiency.
- Flexible Schedule: Willingness to attend networking, client, and industry events outside regular business hours.
