The opportunity:
Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center supports global project delivery. The center provides engineering, planning, procurement, testing, and commissioning expertise. In this role, you will coordinate engineering delivery across disciplines. You will support planning, governance, risk management, and performance monitoring. You will work with engineering teams, project managers, and supply chain teams. Your work will help meet quality, schedule, and customer commitments. You will also drive engineering coordination and execution improvements.
How you’ll make an impact:
• Drive engineering stage gates, design reviews, and design freezes.
• Monitor engineering schedules and support timely project delivery.
• Maintain engineering performance reporting and key performance indicators.
• Identify delivery risks and support practical mitigation actions.
• Support closure of engineering quality issues and non-conformities.
• Coordinate interfaces across disciplines, projects, and supply chain.
• Lead improvements in engineering processes, tools, and governance.
• Support construction, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 6 to 10 years of project engineering or execution experience.
• Experience in power systems or multidisciplinary engineering delivery.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with engineering and project teams.
• Understanding of engineering governance and quality processes.
• Knowledge of risk management and project controls.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
