Job Description:
Responds to employees, managers or human resource inquiries that may require specialized knowledge of human resource programs and products. Partners with human resources and process owners to continuously assess and develop project plans for the purpose of improved service primarily in the payroll arena. Maintains and ensures payroll products and procedures are administered and maintained.
Principle Responsibilities
- Performs payroll processing including coding of time, time entry and automated time collection.
- Runs reporting, audits and makes corrections and adjustments as needed.
- Processes refunds, overpayments, garnishments, Internal Revenue Service levy's, state levy's, labor adjustments, and earning code adjustments.
- Paying of accounts payables for deductions withheld, cash reconciliation.
- Executes off cycle processing which produces checks and advices that are outside the normal payroll processing.
- Involved in miscellaneous payroll-related activities, included but not limited to researching pay issues, identifying problems, and resolving concerns in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description
- 2 to 5 years of Human Resources experience with an emphasis in payroll or accounting
- 0 to 2 years of customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate's, Bachelor's or Vocational degree in Business or Human Resources related field
- 0 to 2 years of health care experience

- Lifting weight up to 10 lbs. occasionally, negligible weight frequently
Pay Range
Pay Range: $26.07 to $35.72 per hourThe pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.Benefit Summary
