The Analytics Cloud Platform (ACP) Technical Leader drives business value from engineering analytics by connecting deep domain expertise with data-driven insight. ACP brings together engineering and service experts to conduct collaborative root cause analysis, identify precursors to failure, assess fleet-wide risk, and validate design assumptions. This role is responsible for guiding analytics toward the highest-value use cases — helping teams prevent outages, improve reliability, and make smarter service, design, and parts decisions.Success in this role depends on strong engineering judgment and the ability to apply that expertise to real business and operational decisions — supported by a solid working understanding of analytics and platforms.
Job Description
What You'll Do
- Guide the technical direction of ACP, ensuring analytics are focused on the most important engineering and service priorities
- Serve as a connective link between engineering and service teams and the analytics function, helping ensure analytics reflect real risk concerns and operational needs
- Guide the team to translate business and engineering problems into clear, high-value analytics use cases
- Enable collaborative, cross-domain root cause analysis by connecting engineering and service experts around shared data
- Apply Lean principles to simplify work, reduce rework, and improve execution
- Provide lifecycle leadership for analytics capabilities — from prioritization and development through adoption, continuous improvement, and retirement
- Identify and escalate risk early, and drive consistent, high-quality technical execution
- Mentor and develop engineers, strengthening both technical depth and business understanding across the team
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related STEM field
- 10+ years of engineering experience in Design or Customer Service
- Strong subject matter expertise in areas such as root cause analysis, translating data-driven insights into customer action, fleet risk assessment, design validation, or maintenance/parts planning
- Demonstrated ability to connect analytics to real business and engineering decisions
- Strong technical judgment, systems thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, service, and analytics teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience in power generation, fleet reliability, or diagnostics
- Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled analytics and their practical application in engineering
- Experience applying Lean thinking and managing technical capabilities across their lifecycle

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $113,200.00 and $188,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
