Job Description

Allied Universal® is hiring a Process Enhancement Specialist. The Human Resources Process Enhancement Specialist is responsible for monitoring and maintaining implemented solutions and applicable analytics. The Process Enhancement Specialist is responsible for the review of company procedures and forms, producing new and revised documents to ensure compliance with Allied Universal standards as well as federal, state, and local laws governing employment practices and business operations. The Process Enhancement Specialist will also participate in implementation of new human resources technology solutions to eliminate barriers to efficient operations in the corporate and field human resources functions.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and recommend technical solutions to address opportunities to improve existing procedures and optimize operational effectiveness within the Human Resources organization (I9 processes, onboarding processes and standards, Early Wage Access benefits, etc.)
• Collaborate with various human resources partners to create and maintain training materials, documentation, and flowcharts to document processes
• Regularly audit and maintain content of new hire onboarding documentation across all business units
• Maintenance of Human Resources SharePoint site
• Day-to-day administration of employment verifications and other compliance forms not processed by our Employment Verifications vendor, following company protocols
• Process Unemployment Insurance (UI) claims
• Support Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) program
• Periodic support to the Director of HR Policy with reviews/updates of Employee Handbooks to ensure they remain current and consistent across versions; manage various reports or data requests including, but not limited to CPRA, Census, EEO, etc.
• Provide support to the Director of HR Policy with reviewing and updating written policies in coordination with legal, HR, and other appropriate parties; support Affirmative Action Planning and Review Assessments
• Provide assistance with special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• Must possess one or more of the following:
• Bachelor’s degree in business or human resources related fields with a minimum of one (1) year of experience in HR operations, HR systems, or HR process management
• Associate’s degree in business or human resources with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in HR operations, HR systems, or HR process management
• High School diploma or equivalent High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in HR operations, HR systems, or HR process management
• Progressive human resources and/or management experience in a dynamic service-oriented environment
• Experience with training and monitoring consistent implementation of programs through auditing

BENEFITS:

• Hourly Rate: $25-32/hr

• Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days
• Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law.
