Octopus Energy Generation (OEGEN) is a leader in sourcing, investing in, and managing a wide range of utility-scale renewable energy assets. As we continue to expand our investment base, we are dedicated to building a diverse team that reflects the communities we serve.
Since our entry into the renewables market in 2010, OEGEN has achieved remarkable milestones, becoming a leading investor in onshore wind across mainland Europe, the largest investor in solar power in Europe, and recently venturing into offshore wind projects. Currently, we manage a global portfolio of over £8 billion in renewable energy assets in renewable energy assets across more than 300 large-scale energy-generating companies, spanning wind, solar, energy storage, and hydrogen.
We started investing in Asia in 2023. Since then, our team has completed significant milestones, currently managing various mandates involving projects across 5 countries, and we are rapidly expanding our investment base in the region.
The Role
We are looking for a leader to join our growing Asia team based in Singapore.
As we scale our active investment allocations across Asia, specifically supporting our platforms in the Philippines and Japan, supporting the Head of Investments (Asia) through independently driving deal underwriting and business plan KPI management, and supporting decision-making and fundraising efforts. You will also play a key leadership role in mentoring junior team members.
