Highlights:

Summary: The Document Image Specialist-Team Leader is responsible for coordination and support for all areas of the Document Imaging team to include the preppers, scanners, and indexers. This involves maintaining the workflow while supervising, training, and reporting on quality assurance, production and attendance. The Document Image Specialist-Team Leader will use multiple computer systems and electronic payor systems on a daily basis. This position is critical to ensure that all payments and correspondence are available for the end users. This ensures the material is correctly identified to be followed-up on by the Collectors, Refund representative, Billers and Customer Service therefore giving a quicker response to the insurance companies and to the patients. Team Lead II and III are based on the career ladder guidelines set forth by the dept. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role. Education / Experience: High school graduate or equivalent. College degree or technical certification preferred. Minimum 1 year management or supervisor experience preferred. Previous background in healthcare related field for at least 1 year. Minimum 1 year data entry experience required. License / Certification: None Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• PC experience required with working knowledge of Excel and Word applications.
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency with other computer software.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to read and write proficiently.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: Position requires sitting for 80% of the workday and mobility 20% .
There is occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
There is frequent reaching, use of hands and repetitive action.
Requires occasional lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
There is a continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity in conversation either by phone or in person.
Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range.
Inside protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Minimal noise levels.
Much exposure to computer work.
Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock.
Some exposure to infectious disease while performing job-related tasks.
Some exposure to hazardous chemicals. Occasional exposure to radiation.
