As a Lead Field Services Engineer, you are the technical specialist responsible for the seamless operation and security of Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and control systems. You will bridge the gap between high-performance industrial operations and operational technology (OT) cybersecurity. In this role, you ensure our customers’ plants run efficiently and securely by providing expert support for critical control architecture while expanding your expertise into advanced cyber-resilience.

Job Description

What You’ll Accomplish

• Drive Operational Excellence: You lead the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HMI, SCADA, and control system hardware and software in complex industrial environments.
• Solve Technical Challenges: You troubleshoot intricate HMI and control issues—from logic interfaces and network communications to application services—ensuring plant availability and system performance.
• Lead Project Execution: You act as the primary technical contact on-site, coordinating with project managers and customers to execute pre-commissioning, functional tests, and start-up support while maintaining meticulous documentation.
• Champion OT Cybersecurity: You perform essential cyber-resilience tasks, including asset verification, system hardening, and endpoint protection checks, providing the front-line defense necessary to protect critical infrastructure.
• Advise & Collaborate: You translate complex technical and cyber findings into clear, actionable language for plant operators and senior stakeholders, ensuring everyone understands the risks and the solutions.
• Uphold Integrity: You maintain a "Safety-First" approach, ensuring all site activities strictly adhere to environmental, quality, and cybersecurity protocols.

What You’ll Bring

• Technical Foundation: You possess substantive experience in HMI, SCADA, or turbine control systems in power generation or industrial settings. You have a solid grasp of how industrial control systems, networks, and Windows environments interact.
• System Proficiency: You are comfortable working with HMI/SCADA platforms, performing screen navigation, alarm and trend reviews, and basic configuration. Familiarity with GE control platforms or similar turbine/plant automation architecture is highly valued.
• Networking & IT Skills: You have a practical understanding of industrial networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls) and Windows server/workstation troubleshooting.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: You demonstrate a high degree of technical maturity, allowing you to remain calm and precise under the pressure of outages or abnormal event troubleshooting.
• Commitment to Learning: You are eager to grow your expertise in OT cybersecurity and possess the discipline to translate your technical knowledge into robust, secure operational outcomes.
• Mobility & Flexibility: You thrive in dynamic environments and are prepared to travel to support diverse project sites, including international or offshore locations.
• Fluency: You are proficient in English; fluency in Spanish is highly valued to effectively support our regional customer base.

Fascia retributive: Tra 48,100.00 EUR  and 72,100.00 EUR gross lordi annui. La retribuzione specifica offerta terrà conto dell'istruzione, delle qualifiche, dell'esperienza e delle competenze del candidato.

The pay range for this position: between 48,100.00 EUR  and 72,100.00 EUR gross per annum. The specific pay offered will consider the candidate’s education, qualifications, experience and skill set.

Eleggibilità per il Piano Bonus:  Eligibilità al piano bonus Variabile-AIP, che prevede un incentivo target del 10% della retribuzione base annua, a seconda del raggiungimento dei parametri di business e delle performance individuali.

A National Collective Bargaining Agreement (‘NCBA’ - Metalworking) is applicable in relation to the position. Below, we indicate the relevant provisions of the remuneration regulations applicable at the Employer. The available benefits based on the currently effective CBA and company policies include the following:

Stipendio Base: La retribuzione seguirà le tabelle salariali previste dal CCNL di categoria Metalmeccanico Industria

Base salary: The remuneration is established according to the Metalworking CBA salary scale, which defines job groups and minimum salary levels.

Pensione Integrativa (Cometa): Tutti i livelli sono eligibili, ad eccezione dei dirigenti.
Contributo del datore di lavoro: 2% (2,2% se under 35). Contributo del dipendente: 1,2%. Base di calcolo: retribuzione mensile lorda.

Pension Fund (Cometa): All levels are eligible, except executives (dirigenti).
Employer Contribution: 2% (2.2% if under 35). Employee Contribution: 1.2%. Base: monthly gross salary.

Assistenza Sanitaria (Metasalute): Assistenza sanitaria prevista da CCNL. Il dipendente ha la possibilità di rinunciare alla copertura di base optando per l’assistenza sanitaria integrativa offerta da Generali.

Business trip allowance: Only for Troia (FG) and Agrigento sites, Onshore Wind Service business Work Location –Allowance equal to 20% of daily remuneration for each day spent away from the usual place of work, which involves an overnight stay outside the province of residence.
