Our faculty and staff are not only experts in their disciplines but also mentors who inspire and guide students to reach their highest potential through compassion, structure, and dedication to our mission. Position Overview: Executive Functioning & Academic Coach Central Catholic High School is seeking a compassionate, structured, and skilled Academic & Executive Functioning Coach to support our high school students in developing strong time management, organization, study, and goal-setting skills. The ideal candidate has a passion for helping young people grow academically and personally, an understanding of executive functioning challenges (such as procrastination, motivation, and time management), and the ability to provide guidance that promotes responsibility, focus, and confidence. Candidates with backgrounds in education, psychology, or counseling—especially those with experience working with adolescents—are strongly encouraged to apply. ResponsibilitiesProvide one-on-one and small-group coaching sessions to help students strengthen executive functioning and academic skillsSupport students in areas such as time management, organization, planning, task initiation, and follow-throughCollaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to create consistent support systemsHelp students establish routines and strategies for academic successEncourage accountability, self-advocacy, and goal settingMaintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with the academic support teamFoster a positive, encouraging, and professional environment aligned with the school’s mission and valuesQualificationsBachelor’s degree required (Education, Psychology, or related field preferred)Background in academic coaching, counseling, or teachingStrong understanding of executive functioning and learning strategiesExcellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to connect with high school students and maintain firm but supportive boundariesExperience working with neurodivergent learners (ADHD, anxiety, etc.) a plusCommitment to the values and mission of Catholic educationWhy Join Central Catholic High SchoolOpportunity to make a lasting impact in students’ academic and personal livesCollaborative and supportive faculty environmentOpportunities for professional growth and developmentMeaningful work rooted in service, leadership, and faith
