Job Title: PRN Private Duty Nurse (RN)

Job Type: FT and PRN (24 hour care)
Aspen Private Duty Nursing is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 care for an oncology patient in the home setting in Ennis, Texas.
If you have experience caring for oncology patients and value focused, individualized care in a private duty environment, this is an excellent opportunity to use your clinical expertise in a meaningful way.
Position Details
- Employment Type: FT, PRN
- Shift: Day and Night Shift (12 hour shifts)
- Setting: Private residence
- Patient Population: Oncology (1:1 care)
- Location: Ennis, TX
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in a 1:1 home setting
- Monitor patient condition and manage oncology-related symptoms
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Perform ongoing assessments and document accurately
- Communicate effectively with physicians, care team, and family
- Respond appropriately to changes in patient status
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Texas RN license
- Experience with oncology patients
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently in a home setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
