About This Role:
This role exists to help people in stressful moments feel safe, respected, and taken care of. As a Tow Truck Operator at Bob’s Main Street Auto & Towing, you are often the first point of contact when something goes wrong. Your professionalism, calm presence, and attention to safety help turn a difficult situation into a reassuring experience for the customer.
What Your Day Looks Like:
Your day involves responding to calls, safely loading and transporting vehicles, and interacting with customers who may be frustrated or overwhelmed. You’ll follow clear procedures, prioritize safety, and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers. While the work is active and varied, you’ll always know what’s expected and have support from a team that values professionalism and respect.
Our Values:
- Growth – Personally and professionally.
- Accountability – We do what we say we’ll do.
- Integrity – With customers and teammates.
- Transparency – Clear expectations, no surprises.
What We Offer:
- Predictable, rotating schedule: You’ll know your work days months in advance, making it easier to plan life outside of work.
- Guaranteed hourly pay: Consistent, reliable income you can count on.
- Paid time off with yearly increases: One week of PTO starting after just 90 days, growing over time.
- Paid holidays — even when they fall on weekends: Spend important days with your family.
- 401(k) with 4% company match: We invest in your future.
- Paid, on-the-job training: No experience needed—we’ll teach you the right way.
- Monthly performance bonus: When the company succeeds, everyone shares in it.
- Paid uniforms: One less thing to worry about. We’ve got you covered.
- Company-sponsored events & team gatherings: We believe strong teams are built through connection.
What We’re Looking For in a Tow Truck Operator:
- Maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- (Must be 21 years old for insurance purposes).
- Safely operate company vehicles and equipment while following all safety procedures.
- Communicate clearly with Dispatch and the Towing Manager daily.
- Use company-provided phones and software to receive and manage calls.
- Provide professional, courteous customer service—especially in stressful situations.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment.
- Adapt to change with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Commit to learning, improvement, and growth within the company.
Who Thrives Here:
- You enjoy helping people when they need it most.
- You value teamwork and accountability.
- You want stable pay and predictable scheduling.
- You’re looking for long-term growth—not just a job.
If you want to work somewhere that keeps its promises, respects your time, and supports your growth, we’d love to meet you.
