About the Role
TD SYNNEX is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our Specialty Finance team. In this role, you will manage customer accounts, drive collections activities, reconcile account balances, and resolve payment-related issues for a portfolio of customers.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys investigating account discrepancies, collaborating across teams, and helping customers resolve complex payment challenges. You'll work closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Accounting, and customers to ensure accounts remain accurate, payments are collected in a timely manner, and business objectives are achieved.
What You'll Do
- Manage and reconcile assigned customer accounts while maintaining accurate account records.
- Review aging reports and account histories to identify collection opportunities and payment issues.
- Contact customers via email and phone to obtain payment information, remittances, and supporting documentation.
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies related to invoices, credits, purchase orders, pricing, returns, deliveries, and other payment concerns.
- Identify issues preventing payment and determine appropriate next steps for resolution.
- Recognize potential account risks and escalate concerns to management when necessary.
- Partner with Sales, Product Marketing, Accounting, Cash Application, and other internal teams to resolve customer account issues.
- Research invoice and credit memo histories to support accurate account management.
- Maintain timely follow-up on open issues to ensure prompt resolution.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end collection activities.
- Adhere to company policies, compliance standards, and authorization guidelines.
- Participate in occasional non-standard work hours as business needs require.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, Credit, Billing, Accounting, or a related finance function.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with account reconciliation, collections, and payment resolution processes.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload and effectively manage multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical business practices.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Experience working with credit procedures, account reconciliation, and dispute management.
- Familiarity with RMA and program processes.
- Experience using reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI.
- Experience supporting customers within a large, complex organization.
