- Assist in collecting, validating, and analysing data from multiple business systems and sources.
- Support modelling activities relating to resource demand, capacity planning, production forecasting, and portfolio performance.
- Produce reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate business insights effectively.
- Assist with scenario analysis to assess the impact of changes to schedules, resource availability, priorities, costs, and production outputs.
- Support estimating activities through data analysis and trend identification.
- Maintain model documentation, assumptions, and governance records to ensure transparency and traceability.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting processes, and modelling methodologies.
- Support ad hoc requests from the Portfolio Performance team and wider business functions.
What You'll Bring
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to work confidently with data and identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis techniques.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to different audiences.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrable interest in business analysis, modelling, forecasting, operational performance, or data analytics.
Ideally you will have the following experience
- Experience using Power BI, Power Query, SQL, Python, or similar analytical tools.
- Understanding of project, programme, portfolio, or business planning processes.
- Knowledge of forecasting, resource planning, scheduling, or financial analysis techniques.
- Exposure to engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, defence, or complex programme environments.
- Experience producing management information, reports, or dashboards.
- Awareness of scenario modelling and business performance measurement.
