QuesTec St. Louis is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our service operations in Chesterfield, MO. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS MATTER

As an HVAC Service Manager, you will lead and develop a team of HVAC Service Technicians while ensuring staffing levels, training needs, productivity goals, and operational objectives are met. You will audit work orders, maintain project scopes, monitor master schedules, and oversee service agreements to ensure work is completed efficiently and accurately. You will collaborate with the sales team, General Manager, and Sales Manager to coordinate purchasing needs, workforce capacity, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. Throughout the day, you will analyze labor costs, monitor billing activity and cash flow, review operating procedures, and identify opportunities for improvement. You will provide logistical and technical support to technicians, maintain employee morale, and help ensure the team has the resources necessary to succeed. You will also address customer concerns, maintain strong client relationships, ensure compliance with mechanical codes and industry standards, and verify that required permits and licensing are secured when needed. Your understanding of HVAC systems and maintenance agreements will help support service recommendations, operational performance, customer satisfaction, and business growth.

HVAC SERVICE MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of commercial mechanical and electrical systems
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to read and interpret diagrams, plans, and technical manuals
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to confidently communicate opinions, needs, and problems
• Valid Class E driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle

Preferred:

• HVAC technical background in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
• Previous management or supervisory experience
• Associate degree from an accredited HVAC technical program
• HVAC Journeyman License
• EPA Certification
